new car--need opinions? Empty new car--need opinions?

    Post by vintageroy13 March 6th 2009, 7:36 am

so as most of you know i want to get rid of my wife's 04 corolla and get a 04 or newer smaller suv. right now we have it narrowed down to a 06-07 ford escape, a 06 jeep liberty, or a 07 or newer chevy trailblazer. if anyone has had one of these or has had experience with one good or bad let me know---this is the car that my wife and daughter will ride in--once again most of which you know. so help me out-- oh and if you want a 04 corolla check out the classified section---roy

Ive driven several escapes that my neighbors have, loved them and they have had no issues. Cant put input on the others, don't know about them.

well due to unforseen circumstances we ended up buying the chick a new car yesterday. we got a 2006 jeep liberty. not a bad little rig. i went in with the attitude of f$%^ the dealer but the owner walked out and shook my hand and started talking to me and literally made me an offer i couldnt refuse---kbb on jeep was 16800 ish gave it to me for 12500---trade in for corolla on kbb 6700 ish he gave me 7500. my wife had driven it three times and loved it so when she looked at me and asked if we could get it i literally had no reason to say no so we took the keys home an hour later. any way enough of that just wanted to share

Congrats on the new ride. From what I know of them, the Liberty seems to be pretty good. Which motor?
