what to change for engine swap to 3.5 se

Hi Guys's

I need your advice for swapping my 2.5 sl to 3.5 se engine. Some guys here offered me a good price for an a low mileage engine (Half Cut Donor). I know it's all overwritten on Nissan Club forum.

But i need to know my Club to advice me..

Awesome dude is it a stick or an automatic? I bet Gene could help you on this one..

Honestly, I have looked at this.

You will need-
Engine
Trans
Subframe
Computer/front wiring harness
Coil springs

If you can get the whole front half of the car, that will be the best way.

Thanks for the reply's. Like i said one guy here is offering me a Half cut 3.5 se donor altima. He said he will pull evrything (engine, harness, computer, subframe, mounting).. and we will retain the single exhaust of my 2.5sl.

Help me if some item are missing for the conversion.I hope Gene will reply on this.

They can bring a Manual but i would prefer auto, i'm not a ricer just daily ride with power on it.

If it's the front half then it will all just need to be transferred over. You will have everything needed unless it was missing from the donor car. Remember you will also need the ECU from the VQ, the CAN system, etc. It's not a simple bolt-on swap. It's very extensive.

The rear sway bar is larger...And in thinking about it, the front one is too. Rear springs and struts are the same.

And I almost forgot...You WILL need the gauge cluster as well.
