They are having a meet on saturday, you should tell them to try
considering heading out to portland international raceway afterwards!!!
itll be craacking weather over there and its reallly fun i went last
weekend....
Ok, first of all I don't know why he said that. Second of all, he doesn't know very much about cars, especially motors and transmissions, so I wouldn't reccommend you take advice from him. Third, you will not run 12s and neither will he with a naturally aspirated DE-K. And fourth, to clear things up, its a variable intake manifold, not a vi i/m manifold. If you spell out those acronyms, it would read: variable intake intake manifold manifold. If you want to talk motors and such, he isn't the man to talk to. If you would like to talk motor swaps pm me. However, you would run 13s with just a VQ30. Mid to low 13s with all the boltons and slicks.

how was the drive down?
It was a great drive. Plenty of Sun and warm. At one point my ambient temp read about 80 degrees. It was a bummer not more altima guys could show, but I think part of the problem was you guys had very short notice. We definitely should get some more collaboration going.
