Re: OK, guess I'll go first
Still have some more things to do. My wife bought me the Bassforms figerglass enclosures for both sides of the car for my Xmas and b-day(Jan) presents. I am going to get a couple of trunk mats from a wrecking yard and use the fabric to cover them.
I still need to complete an underhood project too. I am going to relocate all of the damn fusible links that hang off of the battery. That one is on hold until V-LEDS gets their new HID ballast design in though.
I am going to replace my tail lights too...I will buy either the gunmetal or chrome ones from Depo that have the clear turn signals in them. I have already looked, and I can use the same socket that the rear stop/tail light uses now, with some minor modification. The goal is to use the 3157 amber/white dual colored bulb from V-LEDS for the rear turn signal. They have a new one that is really bright. Amber will be for the turns, and I am going to wire the white circuit into my reverse lights...That will give me 4 reverse lights...

So where do you get your led's from, they are very very nice lookin, i like your alti. I just want the led's for my rear license frame, dome lights and door lights. But the place i know of that used to carry led's locally stopped carrying them.

www.v-leds.com
The car is sponsored with their lighting products. My HIDs, and all of the leds.
There is a link at the top of my CarDomain page. There is also a thread on Nissanclub offering 15% off til 12-31-08...I just replied, so it is on the top of the 02-06 Altima section.

Something Totally New...
We will see how this turns out, but my neighbor and I are trying to come up with either a stainless or aluminum engine cover for my car.
He is really good at metal fab, and used to do a lot of work on sprint cars. Since he got out of that, I think he is a little bored and spends a lot of time in my garage watching me work on the car. Only problem is that we end up talking and drinking beer instead of me working...LOL
We are also getting ready to start on the relocation of the battery and fusible links.

Re: OK, guess I'll go first
I can't wait to see the new tails! There's something about the rims that just isn't quite right to me...not sure what though. The car is SICK!! Congrats on the new sponsorship too!

Re: OK, guess I'll go first
You're not the first to comment about the rims...But I personally am tired of seeing 5,6,7 spokes. Had to do something a little different. Now I am starting to see a lot of wheels with over 10 spokes
Anyways, they are hyper silver centers with polished aluminum lips

+1 I agree. Not to mention when something goes wrong and you have to figure out what they did in the first place.9594Altima wrote:yeah I couldnt be proud to have that knowing someone else put all the hard work into it.
