Amelia..The new girl here! Empty Amelia..The new girl here!

Post by Uhmealyuh February 28th 2009, 1:35 am

Hi my name is Amelia! I live in Troutdale, OR!

I just recently bought a 2002 Altima 3.5 SE. It is a 5spd... fully loaded. Came with some what I think to be awful chrome wheels but some people like them. I have't done anything to it as of yet. Because after I bought it I found out that it has a slipping clutch... Thats what I get for not getting on it when I was test driving... O well that is neither here nor there! It will be fixed soon! Plan on going VIP style with it What a Face

I have other pics but I guess they are not on this computer! So more to come later! Smile

It has tint on it.. lol. Its just not super dark. I plan on having it redone. I have had the car for a month... So not much is done to it by me as of yet. My husband put his JDM bubble shift knob in it when he blew his motor though lol. Its really weird driving with it. Its 6.5 inches long! lol.

Amelia..The new girl here! Empty well it wont be before

    Post by My07Altima March 1st 2009, 11:45 am

we wont be able to do it before summer thats for sure, but from pepboys with wheel balance and the new tires/alignment and labor they want 1200 for all of it, so not so bad Tires Potenzas-135 a piece, Wheels-97 each, then the cost of balance, and alignment and labor its not bad with tax and everything out the door is 1200

My dad and I dropped the trans from his VQ30 maxima last summer so we could change the clutch. It's honestly not that bad.

from what i have heard the difference between the 3.0 and the 3.5 is like night and day. i know people that have taz's mmi's for the 3.5 that are still sitting there because it is such a pain to work in the rear of the motor/next to the trans.

Uhmealyuh: I wasn't really offering, but if you pay my miles I'll be glad to come take a look.

And the 3.0 is probably an entirely different beast than the 3.5, but I thought I'd give my 0.02 anyways.
