I thought I would share this after reading it. Instead of unhooking the battery overnight you can reset the fuel trims instantly. Start the car and let it warm up to normal operating temperature then shut off the car, unplug the maf sensor, start the car and let it run 15-20 seconds, shut the car off and plug the maf sensor back in, start the car and let it idle for 15-20 seconds and then shut it off and do the code reset posted here by Bill. I don't know about the VQ but the QR runs rich and resetting it seems to make it run smoother. After cleaning the throttle body, maf sensor, and using lucas injector cleaner I was still averaging 23 or less MPG but after this I am averaging 25 or more MPG. I know the trip computer isn't that reliable but try it for yourself.
