Sections that we should have.

Im thinking we should have a few other sections on the site. Such as a general chat to just talk about car stuff, and a introduction section for new people. Great idea on creating this site, i can see it getting big, i wanted to create one but im to busy creating a forum for northwest datsun owners for my old mans club. So how do we become mods lol.

I vote first 5 members are mods!

Lol not a bad idea, i know you and me shot hang around alot of altima and nissan sites.

I also vote for a new user section...Actually, we can probably just make a thread with a sticky for all newbies. All of us are members here and on Nissanclub as well.

I had actually gotten the idea to make a group on CarDomain with the same name as well, but I think this is a much better medium...(THANKS MATT!!!)

I have the contact information for some of the other guys that came out this past year to the meets, so I will forward the news of this site on to them. Hopefully we can keep in better touch and be able to schedule some good meets and group activities this coming year.

Woo hoo lol. I want to see this site get really big. I love the altimas, and i hate hardly seeing any around. At the gas station today heard a guy in a pt cruiser say oh woah thats a altima se-r and i started freaking cuz someone noticed my car lol. Hope to get to know you guys better.

Matt-is it possible to get the main page to change pics??? We have some good pics from last year's meets that would be good in a rotating fashion. You have some, Ace has some, and I think the wife and I do to.

That would be great, i also think resise it a bit smaller for the banner, taking up the entire window is quite alot.

What about a section for diys? bt2580, you could put in your wiring for the interior lights and how to take apart the visor. just a thought. diy's would get visitors who are searching for help with their cars. I found a few sites by searching for diys.

Just take a lot of pictures so you do not have to write as much. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Good luck with that.

Just take a lot of pictures so you do not have to write as much. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Good luck with that.

I actually already have quite a few pictures of the wiring...The reason I never did a writeup for Nissanclub is because there really is a lot of overkill in how I did mine. New fuseblock, relay, master switch, switches for each circuit.

Although I highly recommend a relay in the circuit, the whole thing can be done with a couple of ScotchLoks and some wire.

Just a quick thought, should we combine the catagories "photoshoots" and "mods"?

I think they're too much alike and since we don't have too many users/posts yet we can combine them into like a member's ride for photoshoots & mods.

Good idea...I am playing around with the backend and trying to organize things a little better now.
